Here are three exercises you can do this offseason to improve your golf game.
Just because golf season is coming to an end does not mean your training has to. Check out the following videos on some ways that you can improve your flexibility and swing in the off season.

Back Twist Throw
To do the back twist throw, stand with your back toward the wall and your feet pointed straight ahead. While keeping your hips facing forward, rotate your trunk throwing the medicine ball over your shoulder toward the wall as shown in the video.
This exercise improves a golfers ability to control their swing from the backswing to the follow through position, minimizing lower back injuries common with golf swings.
Runners Reach With Stability Ball
Standing on one leg with knee slightly bent reach to stability ball placed directly in front of you with opposite arm. As a progression in this exercise place the stability ball at a 45-degree angle from your standing leg to increase difficulty and further improve balance. For the athlete who cannot reach the ball one the floor, place the ball on a box.
This exercise helps improve hip stability and overall balance which is crucial in developing a solid golf swing.
External Shoulder Cable Pull down
Standing perpendicular to the cable machine, keeping your shoulders back grab the cable across your body with the palm facing up. With a straight arm externally rotate shoulder downward at a 45-degree angle as shown in the video.
This exercise strengthens a golfer's shoulder capsule to prevent common shoulder injuries and improve power and speed in your swing.
