Thomas Newman, Founder of Sandbata athletics, donating $500.00 to Middletown Athletic Boosters. The money was raised though Sandbata's First Annual Golf Tournament to benifit Middletown High Athletics. The tournament took place at Newport National Golf Course on April 18, 2010.

Thomas Newman from Sandbata ran a specialized physical education curriculum in the fall of 2009. This program supplemented traditional physical education and developed primary data for future grants in the Newport community.
